How often does Pingstat check my servers?
Every 60 seconds on the Free plan, every 30 seconds on Plus and Pro.
Does it work when the app is closed?
Yes. Our server pings your hosts 24/7 and sends push notifications directly. The app doesn't need to be running.
Is my data encrypted?
All API calls happen over HTTPS. We store your device tokens and server list on our servers; no ping content is archived beyond latency numbers.
Can I monitor hosts behind a VPN?
No. Pings originate from our server on the public internet, so only publicly reachable endpoints work.
Why iOS-only?
Focused attention. A single-platform app is easier to keep polished. Android may come later if there's interest.
What happens if I cancel Plus or Pro?
You keep Free-tier access. Servers beyond the free limit of 5 are paused until you resubscribe or remove them.
